Credit Union Checks can be purchased in any amount with collected funds. There is no charge for a Credit Union Check made payable to the member or to the member and "other person". There is a $4.00 fee per Credit Union Check made payable to anyone other than the member.
Most financial institutions will give immediate credit and you'll have no need to carry a large amount of cash with you. You'll receive a receipt for your purchase.
