FINANCIAL SERVICE OFFICER (FSO)
(Member Service Position)

Position Description:
1. Provide quality service to our Credit Union Members
2. Will promote internal sales campaigns to increase membership; assist visitors
3. Establish relationships with members to determine financial needs
4. Process transactions; including new accounts, loan payments, money orders, etc
5. Assist members with loan applications
6. Complete daily transactions with accuracy
7. Cross-sell Credit Union products and services
8. Contribute to positive member relations by providing timely information and responses to member requests
9. Show proficiency in daily administrative duties; including regulatory procedures and polices of the Credit Union
Qualifications:
1. Experience in a retail sales culture or retail banking experience with demonstrated sales skills
2. Prior experience in member service in a financial institution preferred
3. Minimum of one-year cash handling
4. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, managers and public
5. Professional manner with strong communication and leadership skills for member and public interactions
7. Ability to perform in a fast paced, team oriented environment with multiple interruptions
8. Adaptability and flexibility, especially pertaining to the working schedule and changing situations.
TITLE / INSURANCE CLERK
Main -- Regular Part-Time
30 Hours Per Week
Monday through Friday
Some Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Must Be Flexible
Position Description:
1. Process title paperwork for new, reissue request on loans to ensure the lien is perfected and any UCC's filings
2. Follow-up on titles not received in a timely manner, make contact with members, DMV or other vendors to complete the lien filing
3. Process payoff of loans, paid note and release of collateral to the appropriate individual or vendor
4. Track and process title loss insurance checks, extended warranties and GAP claims and any other refunds pertaining to the collateral loan
5. Maintain state tile forms for collateral loans and provide the information to front line employees
Qualifications:
1. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
2. Previous office experience desired
3. Able to complete duties within deadlines and handle large number f loans at peak times
4. Able to work independently and assist members and vendors with questions
5. Familiarity with state tile laws helpful
6. Position will rotate occasional Saturdays with loan team members
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with a variety of people
8. Flexibility in adapting to change
