SAC Federal Credit Union recently celebrated the official opening of its new headquarters, a 94,000-square-foot building located in Papillion, Neb. Currently home to 115 employees, the building is a place where both SAC FCU personnel and community members can collaborate and grow. In case you missed it, here’s a recap of the events surrounding the new building.
Open for business
On April 4, employees moved into the new building, where they can enjoy its stunning architecture, collaborative spaces, and perks like a fully equipped kitchen and fitness center. Not just for employees, the headquarters also features a working, member-focused branch (watch KETV’s piece on the branch here), as well as a Community Center open to organizations that work with SAC.
After the move was complete, Gov. Dave Heineman, Papillion Mayor David Black, and La Vista Mayor Douglas Kindig helped mark the grand opening of the new headquarters with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 7. Gov. Dave Heineman and Mayor David Black issued proclamations, and attendees were treated to a reception.
SAC Federal Credit Union has always been committed to the communities it serves, and the open house on May 17 was a celebration of that. Many people from the surrounding communities turned out to take a look at the four-story building at 7148 Towne Center Parkway in Papillion.
Attendees took guided tours and visited with members of LEO A Daly and MCL Construction to learn about the building’s construction and architecture. SAC FCU’s leadership team was also on hand to meet members of the community.
SAC FCU would like to thank everyone who came out to see the new facility and encourages both members and nonmembers to stop in, take a look around, and visit with our team. The building will accommodate the credit union’s growth for many years to come, and the team welcomes the chance to get to know their neighbors.
