Nomination Process

The Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors has approved three nominees from members who submitted their applications. An election will not be conducted by ballot when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled, as is the current situation.
Any member who desires to run for the Board may do so now only by a nomination by petition signed by 500 of the Credit Union's members. Petitions must be received by October 1st, 2017. Each nominee by petition must submit a brief statement of qualifications and biographical data along with a signed statement that the nominee is agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected. No nominations will be accepted at the Annual Meeting.

The Nominating Committee has established the following guidelines for nominees:
Must have served on a SAC Federal Credit Union committee for any six month period prior to application
Must have good credit credentials
Financial and/or business background preferable
